Digital Inclusion Toolkit
The Digital Inclusion Toolkit is an independent and comprehensive source of digital inclusion (DI) advice and information for local councils.
Without internet access and basic digital skills, millions of people across the UK have struggled to access vital local services.
We help councils avoid missteps and launch effective DI programmes more quickly.
We provide comprehensive “how to” guides and case studies covering every aspect of starting, delivering and evaluating digital inclusion projects.
We are the first and only dedicated repository of up to date digital inclusion news from across the UK, which is proving invaluable to time poor council officers.
We run regular roundtables for councils, so that they can share best practice and push the forward council digital inclusion work.
The project was started by Croydon and Leeds councils who were joined by Age UK Croydon and TechResort, We now have multiple council and third sector partners collaborating on the project.
Together we can make a practical and substantial difference to those suffering from digital poverty across the UK.
