Calls for election commitments, and new mapping of digital exclusion in NHS regions across England.

UK elections: Groups call for commitment on digital inclusion

Three major digital inclusion groups – Cwmpas, the Scottish Council of Voluntary Organisations, and Good Things Foundation – have published a new manifesto, setting out commitments they want to see from candidates as we approach elections across the UK. The manifesto calls for decision-makers to treat digital inclusion as public infrastructure, and invest in locally delivered support. It is part of the groups’ new cross-border collaboration.

A new report from the NHS Alliance asks: how ready are we for wider reliance on the NHS App? It outlines barriers to the government's 2028 target, for the app to become health care's universal front door. By focusing on geographical variation, it also helps integrated care boards understand local context when commissioning care.
