dxw

dxw is an independent digital agency that works with the public sector and charities across the UK.

Established in 2008, our aim is to improve people’s lives by working in partnership to design, build, and run inclusive digital services.

We re-stated our mission in our deeds when we became employee owned in 2021. Fundamentally, we want to:

  • build services that fit seamlessly into people's lives, and that make public services usable and accessible to everyone – especially those most in need

  • help government spend less money on technology, so it can spend more on the services that society needs to protect its most vulnerable members

  • use the combination of our experience, technical expertise, public service ethos and metta not only to produce better services, but to radically and permanently improve people’s interactions with government; to make it a better instrument of good

We’re researchers, designers, developers, delivery leads, business analysts, strategists and product and performance specialists. We work in multidisciplinary teams because we believe that bringing a diverse mix of skills, expertise and perspectives together leads to better results. It also means we can respond quickly to what we’re learning about people’s needs.
