Dorset Council

Digital Dorset is a collaboration of organisations and individuals who want people to understand how their lives can be improved by adopting emerging and new technologies.

We believe digital is about the change it can make to people’s lives; it is not only about the technology or the equipment but also how we use it to meet people's needs

Dorset Council is one of the curators who pull together to make Dorset shine. Others include Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), Bournemouth Christchurch and Poole Council (BCP), Dorset Care Record, Dorset Chamber, Our Dorset and various voluntary organisations.

We:
• promote the digital activity of small businesses to showcase the talent and opportunities they have and to reinforce the need for digital skills
• attract investment and skills to Dorset
• highlight the private and public sector talent and the digital activity across the county
• are passionate about our life in Dorset and the good we will do for the county through digital.
